Victoria Beckham announced via Twitter on Friday that her lengthy locks were no more. “Chopped it off,” she tweeted, along with a shot of her cropped tresses in a pile on the floor. She was soon spotted wearing the new ‘do while shopping in West Hollywood.
This isn’t the first time Victoria has gotten a dramatic haircut. The urbane beauty wore a jaw-length graduated bob in 2008 and then had her dark tresses cut into a classic pixie. Since then she’d let the adorable ‘do grow out into a long sexy mane of shiny waves.
Victoria’s newest look is a long angled bob that incorporates subtle layers while still providing enough length for her to wear a ponytail or updo. The versatile style has appealed to a number of other celebs like Olivia Wilde, Ali Larter and Olivia Munn who are seeking a fresh, hassle-free alternative to ultra-long hair.
